Oh boy, This are the best people to work with. We lost our 3month old daughter and Leo ensure we didn't spent too much. He went above and beyond for us by offering a free casket. Him and his team endured our daughter looked her best. My husband and I were so at peace to see how beautiful she looked. Leo worked tirelessly with the cemetery to ensure a proper burial. The entire Dumont Sullivan team is seasoned to work with. God Bless you all Leo.

I attended a service at Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in February. There was no detail left unattended. The funeral director Leo and his staff were not only extraordinary in service, but made a very difficult day just a bit easier with their professionalism. Despite the volume in attendance, people were able to gather, pay respects and find fellowship while the staff at Dumont- Sullivan worked to ensure safety and comfort. In a difficult time of tragedy and loss, this funeral home showed a family, it’s friends and community kindness, warmth, calm and security. Their execution was superior and I am so thankful to Leo and the staff. I highly recommend their services, and feel confident in any loss they will help you honor your loved one with a service of excellence.

Our family will forever be grateful for Leo who guided us through the darkest days of our lives. When our 20-year-old son died unexpectedly we had no idea where to begin. Leo guided us through every step of the process with kindness and patience. We had no idea what we wanted or could emotionally cope with and there were so many overwhelming details. Leo walked us through every detail step by step while providing us with his honest and professional opinion. The service was set up perfectly for everyone that loved him to say goodbye. There was well over 500 hundred people who attended, in the cold, during a spike in Covid, and Leo’s staff excelled in their service. The flow of traffic was well-organized and there was plenty of room for friends to gather to remember our son. We will never forget everything Leo did for us during the most difficult time in our life. We highly recommend Dumont-Sullivan home.

Leo Dumont and Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home provided such a beautiful service for my cousin's son who recently passed. During a time of such devastation and grief, he was compassionate, patient and so very kind to our entire family. He guided my cousin through one of the hardest weeks of her life with such loving care and handled every detail beautifully. Leo took the time to help create so many meaningful ways to honor her son. Leo and his crew did an amazing job for the funeral services for my Dad. They were with us the whole time and were very clear of the entire process and upfront on costs and events. Our family’s experience across the board was an “11” on a scale of 1 to 10. As you can imagine it was a very emotional time for my family laying our mother to rest and saying our goodbyes. Leo and the rest of the team at Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home not only offered us the highest level of professionalism, but also offered the warmest, most tender guidance through this difficult process. There were some unusual and challenging family dynamics to work through and with great respect, diplomacy, and compassion Leo and the rest of the team helped us give our mother the most beautiful, peaceful send off. When asked about certain details I thought we would be responsible for, Leo had already taken care of it!
They also did such an amazing job laying my mom to Rest In Peace.

Suddenly losing a loved one is very difficult but Leo and Kade were able to guide us through every step, making this difficult time less stressful for my family.
They made us feel very welcomed, explained every thing throughly and took as much time as we needed to make our arrangements. The funeral home is modern, spacious and extremely well kept. As my entire family looked back on the services held in honor of our loved one lost we can't thank Leo and Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home staff enough for making this horrific time an "easier" one for all of us.
From the moment of the first phone call to the final farewell, every detail was thought of and made absolutely perfect. There was no stress or concern. For not even knowing Doug, Leo made us feel they were losing a loved one as well. They listened to our stories and created an atmosphere that even during the most uncomfortable times we could feel at ease.

My father passed away unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident. Not really knowing where to start, I called Dumont-Sullivan and was connected to Leo.
Leo and his team were absolutely perfect. At no time was anything pushed on us. At no time did we feel uncomfortable. We were presented options, great recommendations, and felt like we controlled what we wanted (with help of course) and Leo was able to fill in any gaps. From (i) suggesting a personalized grateful dead prayer card; (ii) guiding us through cremation/vs embalmment; (iii) selecting caskets; (iv) going out of his way to help us with death certificates; (v) having candid and incredibly respectful conversations regarding open v. closed casket for the wake (given the nature of the accident); and (vi) being up-front about costs from the get-go, we felt as though Leo was a family friend guiding us through this process and was a person we trusted at all time.
The funeral home itself is a great facility for services. My dad was well loved and the place held quite a few people and had various spots were guests were able to hang around and share memories.
I would recommend Dumont-Sullivan to all my family and friends.

My son's service was in September and although there were some hiccups, mostly due to Covid and the volume that attended, I have to give 5 stars as Leo has really gone above and beyond to help us through this unimaginable time. Leo addressed any concerns brought forth immediately when he learned of them, and he continues to assist us 2 months after our tragic loss which speaks volumes about himself as well as his business. Thank you Leo!
